  • B. Blue. A favorite color.
  • C. Apparently it is every letter in the alphabet no matter which letter you point to (Runner up: “Cheers!” When we drink, we toast each other).
  • D. Dudu. Dora in Vered talk.
  • F. Floor. Where dinner ends up in pieces.
  • H. Hide and Seek. A new game. Hide behind the sofa. She comes running, laughing all the way (Runner up: “help.” The call when a puzzle piece doesn’t fit or a bowl cannot be stacked properly).
  • I. Itches. Scratches’ cousin.
  • N. Nap. Something daycare can induce and we cannot.
  • O. Open. Pronounced: O-pee. The belief that crayons must be opened before one can draw (Runner up: “Oy Vey” We teach her many things).
  • M. Ma na ma na.  A favorite video.
  • P. Puppy. All dogs, including a plastic rocking dog.
  • S. Slide. A pastime. And a call to action: “Slide! Slide! Slide!”
  • T. Toys. A house full of them. Play kitchen. Slide. Rocker-puppy. Shopping cart. The world of plastic owes its fortune to baby/toddler toys. Yet, despite owning such a massive collection, the baby wants to open and close cupboard doors.

  2. H is for “help you” at our house. P doesn’t get that it’s supposed to be “help me”…everything is “help you.”
