Imaginary Road Trips Part II

Try the Rescue Remedy, Jenny. Have you ever been able to hold her in your lap (when someone else is driving!)? We have a cat who is very nervous about traveling, and he sits in my lap for our frequent one-hour trips to Baltimore on the weekend. He's much calmer because he's with us up front and consequently doesn't meow every 10 seconds (no lie. it's true)of an hour-long trip.

Hmm. I'm curious. Sedatives don't work on Shiva. She just gets more freaked out because she's woozy, which makes her cry even more. :(

That Bach's stuff didn't do a thing for my cats. See your vet and get some real tranquilizers. Apply them liberally. (I'd get some to use on Jeff too.)

Three words: Bach's Rescue Remedy. A drop in your cat's water for a week up to and including the trip and the crying/massive destruction will abate. Fed Ex also works well ; )
